Splitting Apart a Rainbow

Oooh, this reminds me of CDs. I remember puttering around with this kind of laser-etched foil for ages as a kid, simply because the rainbows just totally entranced me.

You've captured the effect very nicely, and it still looks enough like a spirograph to remind somebody of them.
