Updates!

Oh my goodness, it's a new journal entry! I haven't done one of these... in forever, lol.

So, a few reasons for the journal. I'll start with the most important to most of my followers:



:bademoticon: Brothers Apart

As you may have noticed, the story shows no sign of slowing down. Well, I'm here to reassure you it won't slow down anytime soon! There are plans in the works for it, and a few spaz typing sessions I've had recently. Here, I'll let you know a few of the plans.

I've decided there actually will be loose seasons set up for the story. So, Season 1 will end after Story 7! That's right, a seventh story. Here we are on the fifth, and the seventh is guaranteed. I actually just finished writing the damn thing, and I'm very proud of it. Now it's time to edit, clean up and get ready for posting before Shadows end. Story 6 is the second interlude, a one part story that hits on a great point arising from Sam's 'situation' in BA: What happens if he and Dean get in a fight? He can't exactly hitchhike himself away!

Season 2 and beyond have stories already planned but not written. You will see: the return of a favorite OC of mine with a quirky personality, a special edition story of BA featuring a special guest star and as always: all the angst you can fill up on!

But don't fear! Weekly updates will continue, there's no actual break between seasons.

Just a warning: This is Supernatural. It will get dark, and soon. There are many parallels between my plans and the series. Don't say I didn't warn you, but I promise you'll enjoy the ride with me :bademoticon:

I figured I'd give everyone a slight update on me and how things are going.

First off: friggin car.

If anything's been messing with me this winter, it's my car. She's 13 years old now and having issues of every sort. Flat tire on Halloween where I had to replace two tires, way too much money on it passing inspection, got into an accident in January when I hit the brakes but my car decided to not stop. The other car drove off leaving me on the side of the road panicking. Luckily the damage wasn't bad to the car so I don't (yet) need to pay for repairs. Then someone stole one of my brand new tires off the car. That's right, they stole my damn tire. Imagine my surprise at 6 in the morning when I'm trying to leave for work. Blah. Now that's taken care of at last and I'm playing the "wait as long as possible on any other repairs then just buy a new car" game. Saving up for my new baby.

Next: Contest

That contest was wonderful, I loved everything about it! So, I can say with 99% certainty (the 1% being if something happens to me) I will run another contest same time next year. Everyone's invited to the fun!

0 - I got nothing. I'm gonna just say Jump on My Shoulders by AWOLNATION. It helped inspire me when I first started Brothers Apart
6 - Same. I'm going with Dean's Dirty Organ from the Supernatural soundtrack. It makes me think of my favorite TV character

Fairy Tales: Bowman of Wellwood - 1“Bowman, wake up!”  The voice pulled me out of my dreams abruptly, dragging me out of sleep with an iron grip.  “It’s morning!”  I blinked bright green eyes before squinting at the vague shape standing next to my bed.  At first, the only indication I gave her that I had heard was a disgruntled groan.  As the young girl came into focus, I saw that she had her hands placed on her hips, her mouth set with determination.  She wasn't about to be scared off.
“Whaaaa’?” I mumbled, barely able to keep my eyes open.  “Go ‘way.  Sleep.”  I didn't wait for her reply before promptly turning over and pulling my thin blanket over my head, hiding my mess of dark green hair from her view.
I heard her stomp a little foot.  “But Bowmaaaan!  Sleepyhead boy!” she whined.  I could no longer ignore her when she insistently began shaking my shoulder.  “Mama says        Carson and Glover's Christmas (Mis)Adventure“Carson, think we’ll see Santa?” Glover whispered, trailing along behind his older brother.  His brown eyes were opened wide thanks to the dim light inside the walls.
Carson rolled his eyes and turned back to face his silly little brother.  The boy was only twelve, but he really shouldn’t still believe in stories like that.  “You know Santa isn’t real, ‘Ver.  That’s just a Bean story.”
Glover frowned.  “But I heard the kid Beans talking about it.  They even went to bed early to make sure Santa would come.  They never go to bed early.”
Carson shook his head, but opted not to argue any further.  The Beans going to bed early was the only reason Glover was allowed to go borrowing tonight.  He was far too curious for the normal runs.  Mother and Pops worried that the boy would get himself Seen one day just by exploring too far.
